Young history professor, Jack Turner, takes a retreat at a lakeside cabin just outside of Culpepper, Georgia to work on his doctoral dissertation. The cabin is owned by an ambitious state senator, an inheritance from his father. Inside, everything is exactly the way it was when the old man died ten years ago. While taking a break from his research, Jack snoops through the father’s books and finds an old photo album filled with black-and-white pictures of orphaned children. Intrigued, he continues searching and finds what appears to be evidence of murder and an old leather journal, handwritten entirely in German. Rachel Cook, Jack’s girlfriend, translates the journal for him. What it reveals instantly puts both of their lives in mortal danger.

Besides his bestselling inspirational novels, Dan Walsh is quickly becoming known for unputdownable novels of suspense.

What Readers & Reviewers are Saying:

“Walsh has another suspense-filled hit, proving that his flair for an engaging tome spans genres. History buffs will love his latest, which could be read as a standalone, though it is second in the series. The past and present scenes seamlessly blend together to create a fast-paced, intriguing story which will leave readers anticipating the third book.” — RT Book Reviews Magazine (4.5 Stars, Top Pick!)

Few authors can straddle multiple genres successfully but Dan Walsh is proving that he is in that elite group as he releases his second suspense novel…Remembering Dresden gripped me from start to finish. Once again, Walsh weaves together historical and contemporary events, resulting in a compelling tale…He fills the book with believable personalities well-suited to the story, as well as a plethora of heart-wrenching and heart-pounding moments, making it impossible to set aside”  – Mocha with Linda Blog

This second book in the Jack Turner series did not disappoint. It had all my favorites — WWII theme, mystery and the return of some favorite characters. If you enjoy reading Mary Higgins Clark books you will love this author and this series of books. Looking forward to more books in this series.” — Mark Lafferty, 5 Stars (Amazon reviewer)

I have read all of Dan’s books and never been disappointed with any of them. Remembering Dresden started out with a look at WWll and I was soon pulled into this story and found it hard to put down. The way Dan tied it all together kept me reading late into the night and loving every minute of it…You should read the first book in the series, When Night Comes, but this book will stand on its own. I highly recommend it.” — Wilma, 5 Stars (Amazon reviewer)

  1. I have just finished both your books When Night Comes and Remembering Dresden. I am not all that into the history of the wars but this trigged my interest. It keep me wanting more. It was very good and it is written very well with not a lot of confusion as some suspense novels are written. I was disappointed that there is not a 3rd series of “Jack Turner Suspense Series”. I look forward in reading the next book. I normally read more of the inspirational romance types, I have been taking a break from all that to read suspense novels, your writing has kept me interested so, I am on my way to start your Inspirational Novels at this time.
Thank you for sharing such great work with your readers.
